  4. County
The impact of transportation projects is seldom realized only at the local level; for this reason TPD approaches projects for our County clients with a broad perspective. Our viewpoint is that a successful county transportation project will not only have a positive outcome for the local communities where the project is located but also for the surrounding region as well.

  5. Transit
The key to providing safe and secure multimodal transportation facilities is planning ahead. A transportation engineer’s role is to integrate, or BETTER integrate, transit facilities into our neighborhoods. Using our planning, design, and permitting expertise, TPD is able to create safer and more efficient travel for transit riders, pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.

  6. Not for Profit Agency
There are numerous not for profit agencies located in the region that aim to develop transportation infrastructure. Whether privately, or publicly funded, these agencies, such as Transportation Management Associations (TMA’s), resident managed action committees, or well established land trusts work to fill the gap between publicly funded roadway projects and privately funded development projects by upgrading trail systems, streetscapes, pedestrian facilities, and transit operations. TPD provides guidance regarding grant opportunities, planning, and design engineering for these wide range of diverse projects.
