TPD Takes A Bus Trip To A Philadelphia Phillies Game

TPD sponsored a bus trip to attend a Philadelphia
Phillies game for staff and their families and
friends. Participants enjoyed tailgating, exploring
Citizens Bank Park, and watching the Philadelphia
Phillies beat the Florida Marlins. |

Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management
Association (TMA) recognized TPD’s contributions to
the field of Transportation Engineering with their
Engineering Leadership Award. |

Reading Phillies

TPD sponsored the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Night at The
Reading Phillies on May 5, 2007. As part of the festivities,
TPD Associate, John Wichner, P.E., threw out a first pitch.
Almost 500 TPD clients and staff members enjoyed the game.

TPD Hosts Bring Your Child To Work Day

For the eighth consecutive year, TPD celebrated National “Bring
Your Child to Work Day.” During this year’s event, employees’
children were introduced to the need for and safety of Bridge
Engineering. This event gave children insight into their
parent’s work at TPD and introduced them to the fundamentals of
engineering that contribute to modern infrastructure.

TPD Staff Volunteer for Extreme Makeover Home Edition Project

Several TPD staff members assisted a volunteer team lead by
McGrath Homes on an Extreme Makeover Home Edition Project in
Bucks County, PA. The show first aired on May 6th on
the ABC network.

TPD Takes A Bus Trip To Shawnee Mountain Ski Area

As part of TPD’s efforts to provide exceptional staff benefits,
TPD sponsored a bus trip to Shawnee Mountain Ski Area’s Winter
Carnival for staff, including co-ops, and their families and
friends. Participants spent the day skiing, snowboarding,
tubing, hanging out in the lodge, or some combination of all of
these activities.
