TPD Takes A Road Trip To New York City

As part of
TPD’s efforts to provide exceptional staff benefits, TPD
sponsored a bus trip to New York City’s Rockefeller Center for
staff, including co-ops, and their families. Participants
enjoyed shopping, sight-seeing and experiencing the City’s
abundant holiday spirit.

category. This is TPD’s 4th consecutive year as a Top 15 Best

CE News magazine ranked TPD 8th Best Civil Engineering Firm to
Work For in the mid-size firms category, and 18th in the overall

TPD Presents Roundabout At ICSC PA/NJ/DE Idea Exchange

Tony Dougherty, P.E., Chad Dixson, AICP, and Robert Hoffman
presented a Roundabout Presentation during the annual
International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) event. The
presentation outlined the benefits of roundabouts and
discussed the overall benefits of the intersection design to
developers.

TPD Staff Enjoy Phillies Game Tailgating

In an effort
to continuously provide TPD staff with opportunities to enjoy
time with their families, TPD sponsored a bus trip to a Phillies
Game.

Having outgrown
the office space on Linglestown Road, TPD’s Harrisburg Office moved
to 4507 North Front Street, Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

TPD Sponsors Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Night at The Reading
Phillies

TPD sponsored
the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Night at The Reading Phillies on
May 13, 2006. As part of the festivities, TPD President, Kevin
Johnson, P.E., threw out a first pitch. Almost 500 TPD clients and
staff members enjoyed the game.

TPD Roundabout Wins PSATS Award and TPD Project Manager, Jeff Todd,
P.E., Presents at PSATS Convention

TPD’s Route 82
Roundabout design in East Marlborough Township, Chester County, won
the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS)
Road and Bridge Safety Award.

TPD Principal, Tony Dougherty, P.E., Presents At ASHE Harrisburg
Section Meeting

Tony Dougherty,
P.E., along with Gavin Gray of PennDOT Bureau of Design, presented a
Roundabout Presentation to the American Society of Highway Engineers
(ASHE) Harrisburg Section on March 6, 2006. The presentation
outlined the safety benefits of roundabouts and discussed the
overall design specifications of the intersection alternative. |

TPD Project Wins PSPE Award

TPD’s
Route 82 Roundabout design in East Marlborough Township,
Chester County, won the Pennsylvania Society of Professional
Engineers (PSPE) Southeast PA Region’s Notable Engineering
Achievement Award.

TPD
employees and local community members contributed 25 pints of
blood to the American Red Cross Blood Mobile.
