For Rapid Growth
Traffic Planning
and Design, Inc. (TPD) has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business
Journal as one of the 100 fastest growing privately held firms in the
Philadelphia region as it was named to the Philadelphia 100.
The Philadelphia
100 is a yearly ranking of the fastest growing privately held firms in
the Philadelphia region. Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. was selected
from over 1,750 nominated companies from Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern
New Jersey, and the state of Delaware. When the Philadelphia 100 list
is published on October 16th, companies will be ranked by the percentage
increase in sales from 1995 to 1997.
Each year
the Philadelphia Business Journal publishes its list of up and coming
companies. Some well known companies to have appeared on the list are
West Coast Video, Urban Outfitters, Spectator Management, and CFM Technologies,
just to name a few. Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. was cited for its
impressive rate of growth from 1995 to 1997.

Kevin L. Johnson, P.E. Nominated For "Business Person of the Year"
Traffic Planning
Design, Inc. (TPD) of Pottstown, PA is pleased to announce the nomination
of Kevin Johnson, P.E., President of TPD for the Small Business Administration's
(SBA) "Business Person of the Year." John Tucker, Vice President
of 1st Main Line Bank, has nominated Mr. Johnson and cited his ability
to overcome adversity while growing the firm and improving its financial
well-being. Mr. Tucker has also recognized the firm's contribution to
innovation and community enhancement.
